I began composing music about six years ago as an outlet for my emotions. The melodies began on a small 61-key Yamaha keyboard my parents purchased for me about ten years prior. The melodies continued, and I've written a number of solo piano pieces, as well as guitar. I'm looking at putting out a solo-piano album in the next year, if I can find the time.
What I enjoy most about composition is the storytelling aspect behind it. Each feeling I have can directly correlate to an improvisational piano piece I write. The music essentially plays itself based on how I'm feeling at the particular moment.
Taking such a concept, I love putting myself in others stories and composing based on those vibes. Send me a message if you're looking to have something written. Whether it's a wedding, funeral, or documentary, I enjoy composing for all occasions, because they all have their unique story to be told.
